BonBon - Week #1

Life is so damn "wonderous." Things keep coming up here all the time. My internet is barely working here so I have to go to an internet cafe to do these little posts. And on top of that, China blocks out mine and Willy's gayonstraight site :(. Thank god for PHProxy.

As I promised last time, I will continue on with all the interesting things that happen to me in China. Since I am about 6 weeks late on posting these, I let many stories pile up. However, don't you worry. I will get through these stories soon enough!

The day after I arrived, eighteen of us decided it would be a proper way to celebrate China, by attending a wonderful night of KTV. Even though we all had classes at 8 A.M., we went out till about 5 A.M. and had a very interesting time. No pictures to show you of it, but me and Michael sang Bye bye bye or whatever the song is called by 'Nsync and we even did the dance.

Good thing no one took pictures.

Two days later, we decided to check out the local club scene. Went to this club called BonBon. It's owned by an American black guy who is a famous TV star in China. I was surprised on how good both his English and Mandarin were. He switched between the two flawlessly. Very impressive. Once again not very many pictures to show you guys, but I think maybe this is the only of me at the club. Tod told us to strike stupid poses. I think we succeeded.

Oh yeah, here is a picture of a couple of girls that were with us. They were in the middle of competing for 100,000 RMB (~12,000 USD). They lost though :( Too bad, but you just can't beat the black booty shake.

Next time, I will post a video of them dancing. Can't find it at the moment and am rather lazy.

The next day was interesting, but let me first back track. The day before we went to the club, I met this high school girl (don't ask.) and anyways going back to the day after the club. We got home around 7 A.M. and I just slept for an hour, when at 8 A.M., the high school girl comes over and wakes me up. To meet her friend. Yay for more high school girls (don't ask.). We went out for breakfast and later hung out in my room with some other guys (don't ask.).

I guess she is a little shy. Oh well.

There were other little things we did that week. Some were perhaps too disturbing to talk about and I will let the pictures talk for themselves.

I think that is actually all I did the first week. Hmm, I guess you'll have to wait for another post to find out more.

Oh, by the way, this is my friend, Michael:

Life

It has been so long since I last posted. Perhaps I will skip on an explanation as to why I haven't posted in such a long time. Instead, I will tell you about my "wonderous" adventures as I traveled and continue to study in China!

I have now lived in China for 3 weeks, but the preparation for coming here took several month. Work aside though, I think it is far more entertaining to discuss all the fun that China has to offer (asian girls in asian clubs in slutty asian clothes... I mean sight-seeing).

Let's start from beginning though. Let us begin with my long long trip here. Imagine... 1 A.M. EST, you have not slept for the whole previous day, then you drive for 4 hours to Atlanta, GA to get on an airplane that leaves at 8 A.M. EST. One would think that once you get the driving out of the way, it is easy to just sleep on the plane... but alas on the first plane, I had to sit next to a couple with a 1 year old baby that doesn't shut the fuck up... in very very annoying mandarin screech! The good thing though, the first plane was only flying to Chicago, so the trip was very short.

In Chicago, I had to wait for maybe 2 hours before my next plane. Not so bad, it gave me enough time to get some nasty McD's breakfast. McHeartAttack on a muffin :D I wrapped it in 4 napkins and the greese still bled through to my fingers :(

Finally! Finally, we get on the plane... or so I thought. They forgot to tell us to get our visas stamped at the counter, so over a 100 people had to get it done and the plane got delayed about 40 minutes because of that. Awesome! At least, I am finally going to take off! The plane quickly fills in. Of course, I am too cheap to pay for first class so I don't have any leg room! Oh well... we begin to taxi to the run way. Next thing I hear is a crash and scratching sound.

"Everyone please remain in your seats. Our front wheel fell off. We have a team on the way to fix this." Says the pilot, very calmly (because you know wheels fall off on planes ALL the time).

An hour later, they fix the wheel. Yay! We can take off! (and possibly die on landing but whatever)

"We have to return to the gate, we ran out of enough fuel for a trip to China while they were fixing the wheel."

Great! We taxi back and start refueling, which by the way takes a good hour too. The problem though, they have to turn the plane off while refueling. Yay for no AC in a plane with over 100 people in it yelling and running around like morons.

Anyways, we finally get going! I was sitting next to a cute Asian girl, so the trip was somewhat pleasant.

Eventually we arrived!

So here I am, in China.

Stay tuned for some adventures I've been having in China!
